Admission requirements to study medicine at UCT – University Of Cape Town. Studying medicine at the University of Cape Town comprises of rigorous academic regimes and training courses culminating in the MBChB Certifications. The MBChB Programme takes six years to complete. After graduating with an MBChB degree and completing a two-year internship service, and then one year of community service, students are inducted by the health professions council to practice as a medical doctor.
